1. Nature of the service
Essentially Sadee provides clinical aromatherapy consultations, scent preference mapping, safety screening, personalised aromatic protocols, and where appropriate, custom aromatic formulations.
Clinical aromatherapy is a complementary therapy. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prescribed medication.
2. Medical advice and client responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your health, medication, allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, medical history, skin concerns, and current wellbeing needs.
Please consult your GP, specialist, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare professional before making changes to prescribed medication, treatment, or medical care.
Essentially Sadee does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions.
3. Suitability and safety
All personalised aromatherapy recommendations are subject to safety screening. In some cases, a formulation may not be suitable, or a different aromatic pathway may be recommended.
Essentially Sadee reserves the right to decline, postpone, adapt, or stop a consultation or formulation where there are safety concerns, incomplete information, contraindications, or where the service is not suitable.
4. Personalised formulations
Where a personalised formulation is provided, it is created for the named client only, based on the information shared during consultation.
Personalised remedies should not be shared with another person. They should be used only as directed and kept away from children, pets, heat, and direct sunlight.
If irritation, sensitivity, discomfort, headache, nausea, breathing difficulty, or any unexpected reaction occurs, stop using the product immediately and seek medical advice if needed.
5. Results and expectations
Every person responds differently to scent, essential oils, and aromatic formulations. No specific result, outcome, or timescale is guaranteed.
Any discussion of rest, focus, energy, skin comfort, emotional wellbeing, recovery, or daily routine support relates to complementary wellbeing support only.
6. Appointments and punctuality
Please arrive on time for your appointment or join your online consultation at the agreed time.
If you are late, your appointment may still need to end at the scheduled time. The full appointment fee remains payable.
7. Cancellations and rescheduling
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
Missed appointments are non-refundable.
8. Online bookings and cooling-off period
If you book online, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, unless the service has already been fully provided or you have requested the service to begin within that period.
If your appointment or formulation work begins within 14 days of booking, you agree that Essentially Sadee may begin providing the service during the cooling-off period. If the service has already been fully provided, your right to cancel may be lost.
If part of the service has already been provided before cancellation, a reasonable charge may be deducted for the work completed.
9. Refunds
Refunds are not provided for completed consultations, missed appointments, late cancellations, or personalised formulations that have already been prepared.
Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
10. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid only for the service stated at the time of purchase.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The recipient must complete the required safety screening before any personalised recommendation or formulation is provided.
11. Product collection, delivery, and storage
Where remedies are provided, collection or delivery arrangements will be agreed during or after consultation.
Clients are responsible for following storage and usage instructions. Products should be stored safely, away from children and pets, and used within the advised period.
12. Confidentiality and data
Information shared during consultation is treated confidentially, except where disclosure is required by law, safeguarding duties, or serious risk of harm.
Client information is used to assess suitability, provide the service, keep consultation records, and communicate about bookings or follow-up care.
13. Photography, testimonials, and feedback
Testimonials, photographs, or client feedback will only be used for marketing with permission.
Anonymised feedback may be used to improve services, unless you request otherwise.
14. Scope of practice
Essentially Sadee provides complementary aromatherapy support and personalised wellbeing guidance within professional training and scope.
If your needs fall outside this scope, you may be signposted to a GP, pharmacist, dermatologist, mental health professional, or other appropriate healthcare provider.
15. Agreement
By booking a consultation, purchasing a voucher, or using a personalised formulation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
